Positive Behavior
PBIS Program
A proactive, school-wide approach to improving student behavior and creating a positive school culture.
New Heights Academy’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program (PBIS) is a proactive, school-wide approach to improving student behavior and creating a positive school culture. The R.O.A.R. program focuses on teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors, preventing problematic behaviors, and creating a supportive environment for all students.
We strive to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and character to show kindness, care, and honesty to everyone; choose a positive attitude and believe they can do hard things; take responsibility for their choices and learn from their mistakes; and keep trying, keep learning, and never give up. By living our R.O.A.R. values each day, students grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible leaders prepared for success in school and in life.
