Clubs and Activities

At NHA, our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program is designed to ignite curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and prepare students for the future. Through hands-on projects, collaborative challenges, creative expression, and real-world applications, students explore how STEAM connects to everyday life and future careers.

Our program emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Whether students are coding, building structures, conducting experiments, designing and creating artwork, exploring technology, or solving real-world problems, they are actively engaged in learning that is both meaningful and fun. By intentionally integrating art and creativity into STEM learning, students are encouraged to think in new ways, express their ideas, and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.

We strive to create an inclusive environment where all students feel empowered to explore and succeed—from learning to code and caring for animals to sewing life skills, creating art, designing solutions, and inventing something new. By nurturing a growth mindset and a love of exploration, NHA’s STEAM program builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning, creativity, and innovation in an ever-evolving world.

NHA’s Student Council program enables students to develop their leadership abilities by contributing to school goals. All NHA Student Council members model exceptional behavior and must maintain academic eligibility with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student Council members regularly engage in community service projects, plan school events, and provide input on school plans and policies.
