Our Mission
The New Heights Social Services Team is dedicated to providing a program that is proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate to support students’ social, emotional, and personal growth in addition to empowering students to realize their academic and career potential. We accomplish our mission through collaborating with students, parents/guardians, staff, and community members.
Our Vision
We endeavor to create a safe and nurturing environment where the New Heights learning community is committed to supporting the Whole Child — emotional, social, physical, creative, and cognitive — enabling all students to become productive, respectful, ethical, and contributing members of society. We believe that ALL students can succeed.
The Social Services Team aligns its program with the American School Counselor Association’s Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success, the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Framework, and Arizona Department of Education School Safety Program Support, to “promote and enhance safe and effective learning environments for all students.”

Graduated from Capella University with a Master’s degree in Counseling; currently in her doctoral program.
